I had a lovely evening enjoying the friendly atmosphere and quality service. The staff were genuinely helpful, and the cozy dining area served a delightful full English breakfast with proper sausages. Be prepared for some quirks, but the charm of this vintage pub more than makes up for it.

we had a gr8 time at eagle tavern, amazing food n super friendly staff. the whole place had this cozy country vibe, perfect for a chill weekend away. our room was clean n comfy, and breakfast was just delicious! totally loved watchin the horses outside while eating. would def come back for another stay!

only complaint was a bit of noise from the bar at night. parking can be tricky since there's no dedicated lot.

I loved the cozy seating area and a flat-screen TV for relaxation. They also provided a tea/coffee maker and an electric kettle. Generous breakfast included local ingredients and freshly made options. Perfect location for exploring!

The food was simply outstanding. the kids loved the home-cooked meals, especially the hearty breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The Eagle's menu is a hidden gem! The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the ales hit the spot after a long day walking the Thames Path. Plus, the staff were top-notch, genuinely caring about our stay.

Now, the bed was a bit of a disaster—mattress uneven and a tad worn out.

Breakfast the next day was delightful, featuring a hearty Full English that was promptly served.
